Hard to identify the original bugs but this works very well just the same.
Extended body is light weighted and supple.
Let me explain a bit about the spread shaggy hair legs. Around 2005 I was
working on elk hair wing. An idea came on me. That is to clip only the
middle and leave the sides long so that they can be used as buggy legs.
The first fly I made was a beetle then used many other insect imitations.
Eversince we have remarkable successes.
Before cast, make sure to rub the legs with a slight coating of floatant
so that legs look shaggy and buggy. We use a tippet bigger than 3x. At
night time, around 1x is recommended. |

黒のテレストアリアルフライで、大変強力です。過去数々の大物をこのフライで釣ってきました。
このフライが生まれる前、新しい足の作り方を発見したことが重要です。2005年ごろ、タイイングの最中にウイングのエルクヘアを切る段になって、真ん中だけ切って、左右を残したらどうなるだろうと思い始めました。最初はカメムシか何かのパターンだったと思います。中央を残して残した左右のヘアを揉んでモジャモジャにして広げると大変魅力的な足っぽくなることを発見しました。以後色々なフライに使っていて、成功を収めています。
投げる前に粘性の高いフロータントを薄く指に広げ、ウイング、ヘアに薄く撫でつけてください。足を揉んでモジャモジャにしてから投げてください。空気抵抗の強いフライですので、細いティペットはお勧めしません。#10
Longが基本ですが、３ｘ前後を使っています。イブニングの釣りでは１ｘ前後を使いますが、全く問題なく釣れてきます。 |
