We don't skimp in efforts to make beautiful luster heads on trad wet flies, soft hackle wet flies, streamers, classic flies.
Well made head is strong and beautiful. It is a personal preference but
we don't like heads which thread is visible thru clear varnish. No matter
how beautiful a fly is, the head part makes a big difference in beauty.
We don't make varnished head on dry flies or nymphs. |

ウェットフライ、ソフトハックル・ストリーマーまどのヘッドを作るフライでは美しく艶のあるヘッドにこだわります。
強度も上がりますし、美しいヘッドはフライを引き締めます。個人的な好みなのでしょうが、スレッドが見えたままの透明なヘッドセメントの処理は美しいと思いません。どんなに美しく巻いたウェットフライも、ヘッドが汚いと残念でなりません。
一方、ドライやニンフにはこのような処理はしません。 |
