Although we have hardly any situations where we need this for trout
fishing in Honshu and west, Hokkaido has many trout which take this gigantic
dry fly. If you are on a float tube, troll it very gently and slowly. Fish
will grab it. On a bigger river, swinging this mouse across the current
looks like a real one swimming on the surface.

本州以西では鱒相手にあまり使うことがありませんが、北海道では山奥などに行きますと、大変楽しい思いができる大型フライです。渓流では叩いていきますが、止水のボート釣りではゆっくりトローリングすると、本物のネズミのように泳いできます。本流ではゆっくりスイングして使うと、これまた本物のような動きを見せます。
